The Department of Mathematics, ever since its inception in 1984, has been in the forefront to provide quality education in the field of mathematics. Since then, it has grown both in reputation and stature, upholding the traditions, mission and vision of the College. The department is active in encouraging students to inculcate a keen interest in science .The Department caters to the student’s interests in Mathematics beyond the syllabus. Presently the Mathematics department is providing complimentary mathematics courses to under graduate students of Physics and Chemistry. The Department give the strong emphasis on the teaching learning process. The Mathematics Club organizes programs to awaken interest in the subject. It also co-ordinates the co-curricular, extra-curricular and extension activities of the department.
