Archeological museum

The Archaeological Museum of the College was started in 2004 as a heritage centre depicting the culture and history of St. Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Cathedral and the people of Manarcadu. It displays centuries old artefacts and very rare articles which have a bearing on the culture and history of the area. Exhibits include three thousand year old earthen vessels, bells and other articles used in worship, huge stones, bottles, jewellery box, wooden vessels, coins, agricultural implements, silver rods, title deed box all having a history of over thousand years to narrate. The Museum is also visualised as a folklore archives depicting the rich cultural heritage and history of the marginalized sections of the region.
